He is a popular grandson of popular Telugu actor Allu Ramalingaiya and nephew of Telugu legend actor Megastar Chiranjeevi. Allu Arjun has two brothers, an older brother named Allu Bobby and a younger brother Allu Sirish, who is also a Tollywood actor. Allu studied at Arjun Patrick School, Chennai, and later obtained his BBA degree from MSR College, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. On 6 March 2011, he married Sneha Reddy in Hyderabad. They have two kids, a son, and a daughter.
Allu Arjun’s debut movie was as a child artist. He starred in Chiranjeevi’s movie Vijetha (1985) in 1985, followed by Daddy (1986) when he was about 3 years old and was a graphic animator before entering Swati Mutham.

In 2003, K. Bani made her acting debut in Raghavendra Rao’s “Gangotri”. Marked as Raghavendra Rao’s 100th film. He then moved to Arya in 2004. He later starred in Bunny (2005), Happy (2006), and Desamuduru (2007). Allu Arjun won his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor for Parugu (2008).
He was followed by Arya 2 (2009), Vedam (2010), Varudu (2010), and Badrinath (2011), failing to perform at the box office. Her role as Gona Ganna Reddy in Rudhramadevi (2015) won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor and the Nandi Award for Best Supporting Actor. After that Allu Arjun became very popular with everyone, he acted in several superhit films like Race Gurram (2014), Satyamurthy (2015) Sarrainodu (2016), and Duvvada Jagannadham (2017), Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. He also made his action film Yevadu very popular.
